How to Reset Super Admin Password in Joomla


This generates the sql code to overwrite your Joomla password with a new password typed in this form.

You need to run the generated sql code in PHPMyAdmin or your favorite MySQL interface.

We do not save or give away these passwords.This is Javascript code and it runs on your own machine.

New password:

Database prefix (taken from $mosConfig_dbprefix in configuration. php).

Usual values are ‘jos_’ for Joomla and ‘mos_’ for Mambo respectively, whithout the quotes:

Enable Telnet in Vista


When I try to use telnet feature in Vista, I couldn’t use it. After scrolling through Microsoft help, I learn that you need to enable it in Vista first.

Go to Start –>> Control Panel –>> Programs and features –>> Turn Windows features on or off

After that, check Telnet Client and click ok.

Open any WAP / XML Site in Firefox


There are few browsers which allow Viewing WAP sites via PC i.e Opera. But many of us prefer to use Firefox instead of using opera or internet Explorer. So, there is a Plugin for Firefox called WML browser (Wireless Markup Language). By using this Plugin we are able to browse most of WAP sites from our firefox.

To get this Add-on, follow the below instructions:

1.) Go to WML browser plugin.
2.) Click on Add to firefox.
3.) A Popup will be Appear i.e “Software installment”, below you will see a tab “Install now”. Click on “Install Now” tab.
4.) Once installation done, restart your firefox.

Google Tricks to Detect Invalid Clicks of Adsense


We always hear that Google has a sophisticated system to detect the invalid clicks, and result in termination of the cheaters’ account. But, how can Google do that? In this post, I summarize those ways that Google depends on to detect whether the clicks on your site are invalid or not. Google will not first ban your account immediately. Rather, they will first flag your account and Google will keep a closer eye to your account. In some occasion, they may send you a warning letter to notify your situation; but sometimes not.

1. IP Address

It is the easist and must be recognized by everyone. If those clicks on your ads are originated from the same IP Address as the one used for accessing your AdSense account, your account is flagged.

2. Click Through Rate (CTR)

Normally, Click thru Rate should not excees 10%. Otherwise, Google will flag your account. For your information, normal CTR should ranges from 0.5% – 10%.
